Model and tool making

Model building is of crucial importance because no component can be better than the original model. It is essential to determine the technology for later production when making the model, because errors or defects that arise during model making cannot be corrected later. The great effort required to create a model that is true to the surface pays off later when demoulding: only precise models can be used to produce high-quality tools that enable the economical production of series components.

With our modern CNC system (manufacturer: EiMa, travel distances: approx. 5 x 3 x 1 m) and the experienced technicians at our CAD and CAM programming stations, we produce both positives (master models) and negatives (molds) with dimensionally accurate tolerances here. We use the models to produce our unique RTM Light tools, which are constructed in two parts. The positive represents the exact counterpart of the later component, while the negative is precisely coordinated with the positive. The materials and thicknesses of these two mold halves are selected according to needs and service life. These are then provided with complex metal reinforcements and integrated with a locking mechanism using an electric motor. This allows both shapes to be connected in such a way that a defined cavity is created. In order to meet these high quality standards, we guarantee maximum cost-effectiveness for all of our molds as well as the tools and models.

We therefore pay great attention to all production steps: from design to manufacturing to delivery, we treat every project with great care. Our dedicated team of experts will be happy to provide you with advice and support so that we can work together to find a solution that meets all your requirements!
